Repairs and Maintenance

Region C operates a Repairs and Maintenance service in nine communities within East Arnhem Land and our team understands that finding practical solutions to housing problems in remote, cyclone prone regions requires an intrinsic understanding of the cultural needs and challenges of working and living in Australia's most remote locations and Indigenous communities.

Via our Strategic alliance with Aminjarrinja Enterprises, this provides Region C with an effective coverage on Groote Eylandt and Bickerton Island and thereby the ability to effectively provide maintenance services and undertake building projects in all nine communities across East Arnhem Land.

  • Region C conducts a Repairs and Maintenance program in the East Arnhem region.
  • Well-equipped workshops and tradesmen on-the-ground in eight of the East Arnhem communities means Region C has a multi-trade team capable of responding to almost any maintenance issue – urgent or otherwise.
  • Region C understands that responding to simple repairs and maintenance problems in remote communities requires a fully co-ordinated logistical approach that overcomes challenges of distance, transport and environmental factors such as cyclones and isolation of communities to ensure that most maintenance requests can be actioned immediately.
  • Our flexibility as an multi- service provider allows Region C to offer comprehensive repairs and maintenance solutions to private residential, commercial and government clients benefiting the community as a whole in remote regions of the Northern Territory.
  • In addition to responsive maintenance, Region C can be contracted for preventative, periodic and cyclical maintenance programs plus large-scale targeted infrastructure repair projects such as plumbing, electrical and pest control.
  • Region C's knowledge and experience is backed by a large range of plant and equipment including: back hoe, bob cats, dingos, mini excavators, back-up generators, electric eels, fleet vehicles and trailers.

Region C is currently seeking Commonwealth accreditation in OHS and environmental areas in order to submit tenders for future government projects within the Northern Territory.

Region C is looking at other businesses ventures that allow employment of additional Indigenous residents including security screens manufacture and installation, tree lopping and mulching, air conditioning servicing & repairs, fencing installations, property inspections and project management.
