Modular Building

Overview

The exclusively built Region C Building System provides clients with peace of mind in knowing that quality & service will not be compromised.

The Region C Building System is an engineered modular building system that is designed specifically to endure the harsh realities of remote living. Manufactured to resist a range of climatic conditions including monsoonal rain, cyclones, fire, termites and high temperatures, our design system offers residents of remote communities an affordable choice of comfortable remote lifestyle housing.

Region C has a range of house designs suitable for a wide variety of applications and can also build a variety of other structures including cyclone shelters and sporting change rooms. Region C also has the ability to custom design other types of buildings in consultation with our Modular Building Team

All structures built by Region C are steel framed and feature a modular concrete slab floor. Wall and roof trusses are manufactured by local tradesmen and designed for durability in harsh remote area climates.

Region C offers a complete home system featuring:

  • Cyclone rating
  • Strength and durability
  • Flexible size and design
  • Exceptional insulation ratings
  • Termite resistance

Benefits of Region C house designs

  • Quality homes at competitive prices
  • By completing much of the construction off-site at our premises at East Arm, we are able to minimise our construction costs and offer competitive pricing. This system greatly reduces the number of variants that commonly escalate remote area construction costs such as travel & accommodation expenses, lost/damaged materials and labour hire enabling us to build superior structures that can be erected and delivered on site up to 50% faster than conventional buildings.
  • Region C is clean and green;
  • Our house designs have an energy rating up to 9.5 stars.
  • Premium inbuilt insulation in every home
  • Low volatile organic compound emissions
  • Minimal on-site wastage
  • Reduction of transport logistics, therefore fuel emissions, by delivering complete dwelling to site rather than multiple freight dispatches for individual components
  • Steel frame housing which is extremely robust and able to withstand cyclonic winds of up to 300kms per hour
